Simone Korolnik is Swiss and German, born 1971.

She completed her training at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London, with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in restoration.

She worked on many excavations, for museums and other public institutions both at home and abroad (Germany, Switzerland, England, Turkey (including Troy), the United Arab Emirates, Syria). Since 1996 she is active as a freelance conservator with workshops in Tübingen. Her clients include heritage institutions, public and private collections, museums, university departments and excavations, as well as private clients.

She has 50% permanent position as a restorer at the University of Tübingen for the Institute for Prehistory and Early History and Archeology of the Middle Ages.
